Hartwick College, a nationally ranked, selective liberal arts and sciences institution, invites applications for an Adjunct Lecturer English beginning in August 2021, pending final administrative approval. We seek candidates with expertise in teaching communication (public speaking; multimedia storytelling; podcasts; &c) or journalism (digital; data; investigative; hard news, photo-, sports), including videography. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of an M.A. and should be able to demonstrate not only experience in teaching in communication or journalism (expertise in both preferred), but also a commitment to excellence, innovation, and inclusive undergraduate teaching.From time-to-time, the college teaches courses using face-to-face, online distance learning, or in hybrid (online/distance learning and face-to-face mixed) formats, and faculty are expected to offer instruction with comparable content and similar assessments regardless of the modality of course delivery.
