Federal Work Study Student - Administrative Assistant

The Little Rock Air Force Base campus is seeking (2) Federal Work Study students for the Fall 2021/Spring 2022 terms at 20 hours each per week. The duties include: greet, meet, and assist prospective students. Answer telephone inquiries and/or take messages. Instructs students how to register for CLEP exams. Assist faculty and staff in daily office activities. Other duties as assigned.

Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required. Good customer service skills; Team Player; Ability to use a desktop computer and Microsoft Office Suite.

$11.00 per hour

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
