Responsibilities and Duties
Work closely with hiring committees on the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned divisions and departments, including posting job opportunities that attract top talent; recommending and researching sourcing options; using thorough and consistent evaluation of candidate's capabilities; coordinating diversity reporting to ensure candidate representation; reviewing final candidate selection; and making offers while guiding new hires on a smooth transition to becoming a TU employee.  The Recruiter will also take the lead on the outreach strategy for the Talent Acquisition unit, working closely with a variety of organizations supporting underrepresented groups.  In addition, they will oversee the LinkedIn recruiter profile to post TU positions and identify candidates for hard to fill positions.  With a constant focus on customer service, the Recruiter will also work closely with hiring committees to provide ongoing training and technical support for the automated tracking system.  As a representative of TU, the Recruiter will promote TU positions at job fairs, information sessions, and professional conferences.



Qualifications and Skills
Requirements:

    Bachelors degree and two years of recruiting experienceDemonstrated understanding of practices and theories related to recruitment and selectionExperience and understanding of job postings and building a candidate poolStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a variety of audiencesAbility to present information, data, and trends to individuals and groupsDemonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and proactive follow-upAbility to make sound decisions and develop resolutions in a fast-paced environmentExperience maintaining sensitive and confidential information Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and automated tracking systems
 

Preferences:

    Masters degree in HR or a related fieldPHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certificationExperience coordinating outreach recruitment strategies
