Responsibilities and Duties
Oversees the plan, implementation and evaluation of student tutoring including supervision of multiple RN and student tutors. Includes hiring and monitoring tutors. Communicates with faculty and staff about students in need of academic support. 

Collects data on student success to support leadership decision making. Will include scores on standardized tests, NCLEX results, course grades and others. Build reliable and accurate spreadsheets and conducts basic analyses. 

Provides guidance to at-risk students to devise and implement a plan for student success and maintain regular follow up. Meets regularly with at students at risk of failure when referred by faculty. Connect at- risk students to University resources.

Track student progression across curricula and on NCLEX exams. Compile and organize data for statistical reports and surveys.  Maintain real-time reports accessible to leadership.

Serve as liaison between students, faculty and standardized testing company to assist with testing and NCLEX exam preparation.

Other duties as required to support student success and nursing program needs.



Qualifications and Skills
Successful candidates will...

    Have a Bachelor's degreeHave at least three years of full-time experience working in higher education with students. Experience with diverse student body is essential.Be able to collate, analyze and interpret dataBe able to prepare user-friendly reports from quantitative dataPossess excellent organizational and computer skillsBe self-motivated, goal oriented and able to facilitate team effort as well as have the ability to work independentlyPossess excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and be interested in and attentive to cross-cultural communicationBe able to work quickly to meet deadlines, have a strong work ethic, and have willingness to learn and improve in all aspects of the position.
