The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing timely and detail-oriented administrative support for the programs, events, projects, and communications initiated by the Center for Teaching and Learnings (CTL) director and staff. Along with administrative and financial support for CTL-BU Hub programming, this position will also be responsible for managing calendars, supporting event planning, liaising with BU and external stakeholders, contributing to communication platforms and social media, placing orders, and monitoring and maintaining accurate financial and other records to support the work of the CTL.

Required Skills

Requires: B.A. /B.S., and one to three years of relevant experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills, including the ability to write well and to deal effectively, diplomatically and in a time-sensitive manner with various constituencies. Must be able to work collaboratively and independently, to anticipate office needs, to set priorities in consultation with others, and to handle sensitive/confidential information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required and facility with WordPress, MailChimp, and Twitter, along with the ability to take initiative in learning new digital platforms, is highly desirable.
