This is a part-time position, with varying hours that will be scheduled based on curricular needs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Facilitate PEARLS for first- and second-year medical students
•Complete all PEARLS formative and summative assessment requirements
•Attend weekly PEARLS faculty development sessions
•Facilitate Physical Diagnosis and Clinical Learning sessions
•Attend faculty development for Physical Diagnosis and Clinical Learning sessions
•Complete formative and summative grading for Clinical Learning sessions
•Participate in the planning and development of Physical Diagnosis and Clinical Learning sessions, as needed
•Precept formative clinical skills sessions
•Participate in simulation debriefs as needed
•Assist in grading final essay exams as needed
•Serve as a Family Head
•Facilitate Structure stations as needed to ensure the successful execution of the Structure curriculum
•Participate in structure sessions in GALEN initiative with third-year students
•Participate in grading structure examinations, as needed
•Participate in ACE rounds, as appropriate and needed
•Assist in various administrative activities such as reviewing faculty guides for small group facilitation, edit weekly essay questions as requested, and reviewing prework as requested.
Qualifications:MD or DO with at least 3 years clinical experience. Prior experience in medical education, particularly facilitating small group sessions, is preferred but not prerequisite. Must demonstrate the ability to contribute to a multi-disciplinary educational environment and establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff, faculty, and students. Must be willing to engage in a student-centered curriculum with emphasis on learning rather than teaching. Strong organizational skills required; must be proficient with MS Word and Outlook. Experience with learning management systems and other educational software preferred but not required.
