Description of Position

**New increased hiring range**
Cleaning and preventive maintenance of campus facilities and swimming pool to ensure facilities are operating in a safe and orderly manner. Cleaning all surfaces floor to ceiling. Maintaining sufficient stock of supplies to perform all job duties. Ensuring equipment is clean, safe and operational.

- Performing hard floor and carpet cleaning procedures
- Set guidelines using power and hand equipment
- Assessing area and prioritizing cleaning needs to be accomplished in an effective time frame
- Participating in major end of semester cleanup procedures as well as summer camps
- Requires a flexible work schedule and emergency call-ins
- Other duties as assigned which may include event set up and take down
- Participate in safety and hazardous materials training.Minimum Expectations & Requirements

- Previous education, training, work or life experience which provides reasonable evidence of the successful performance of basic cleaning/maintenance methods and practices
- Knowledge of MINOR equipment repair
- Ability to work independently and as a team member in a changing environment
- Must have a current and valid Arizona driver's license
- Must possess written communication skills
- Must be willing and available to work weekends and various shifts as may be required to fulfill the needs of students, faculty, staff, and administration
- Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Perform work or deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes via loading, unloading and operation of a YC vehicle
- Regular attendance is an essential job function as it demonstrates dependability towards the performance of job duties
