This position Perform initial diagnostic interviews, develop and follow through with a treatment plan, and maintain appropriate documentation through the electronic medical record.Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform initial diagnostic interviews, develop and follow through with a treatment plan, and maintain appropriate documentation through the electronic medical record.Identify when patients may move on from our treatment service as they complete care, transition back to primary care, or need specialty or long- term services located in the community.Liaison with mental health services on campus or primary/specialty medical services may be required.Carry own caseload and work with patients through telehealth/face to face depending on 1) needs of our patients and 2) restrictions due to the pandemic.

Minimum Qualifications:Instructor:
- 1-3 years of related clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience. NP/APN or PAGraduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Masters degree in Nursing and/or a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.Current license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse and/or Physician Assistant with prescriptive privileges. Meets and maintains specific requirements of the Nursing Credential Review Board (Nurse Practitioner) and the Medical Review Board (Physician Assistant).
- 1-3 years of related clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience. NP/APN or PAGraduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Masters degree in Nursing and/or a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.Current license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse and/or Physician Assistant with prescriptive privileges. Meets and maintains specific requirements of the Nursing Credential Review Board (Nurse Practitioner) and the Medical Review Board (Physician Assistant).
- Post-graduate experience employing skills of prescribing medications with the ability to identify, recommend, and at times deliver brief or long-term psychotherapy.Active before start date to practice as a NP or PA in the State of Colorado.Current and active certification in basic like support (BLS)
- Knowledge about the mental health impacts of oppression and effective intervention strategies for diverse communities.Clinical skill is required for conducting brief and targeted assessments in integrated care settings, specific to stress- and trauma-related disorders.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.Capacity for flexibility and adaptability in different work situations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentations to community audiences.Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks and maintain a well-organized work environment.Demonstrates culturally accountable mental health practices and values.Knows and applies best practices in diversity and inclusion practices or has knowledge and understands cultural differences.
