The Division of Cardiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine has an immediate opening in Cardiac Imaging. The qualified non-invasive cardiologist with subspecialty training in advanced cardiac imaging will function as a general cardiologist and imager. Clinical responsibilities will include inpatient rounding (open CCU, consults), OP clinic, and interpretation of echocardiography, TEE, CT, MRI, and nuclear studies. This is an academic position on the Anschutz Medical Campus, which is the only academic medical center in the State of Colorado. In addition to clinical service, there is both opportunity and expectation for academic work, including education, investigation/research, administration, and advocacy. There will be protected time for these efforts with a well-established support structure, breadth, and depth in mentoring available within the Division.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position has been established per rank below.

Assistant Professor - $215,000 - 260,000

Associate Professor - $220,000 - 320,000

Professor - $250,000 - 375,000

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Assistant Professor

The candidate should be board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine by the ABIM with additional certification in the range of cardiac imaging modalities.

Associate Professor 

The candidate should be board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine by the ABIM with additional certification in the range of cardiac imaging modalities.

Full Professor 

The candidate should be board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine by the ABIM with additional certification in the range of cardiac imaging modalities.
