The Department of Finance is seeking applicants for a non-tenure track full-time teaching faculty position in Finance that is scheduled to start in Spring 2022.

Responsibilities

The expected teaching load is four courses per semester. Specific course assignment is dependent upon the department needs. In addition to teaching, the candidate is expected to participate in the department, college and university service activities.

Qualifications

Candidates for this position must have earned or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Finance or related discipline. Degree must be conferred prior to the position start date. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to independently develop and manage courses and have a record of excellent teaching at the AACSB accredited institution. Excellent written and communication skills in English are required.

Preferred

Preference will be given to the candidates with:

Experience and training in Certified Financial Planning (CFP) and ability to teach CFP electives to interested Finance majors.

At least three years of teaching experience.

Experience with Quality Matters certification.
