Job Description Summary:

Support the dining services management team to maintain and communicate offerings effectively and consistently through onsite signage. Support the management team in maintaining business affairs for the dining services.

In the performance of their respective tasks and duties employees are expected to conform to the following:

· Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.


· Interact professionally with other employees and customers.


· Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.


· Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

Specific Duties:

Creates labels, allergen menus, signs, posters, announcements, and other publishes.

Data entry for invoices

Answer telephones, maintaining proper phone etiquette.

Receiving, building, sorting student care packages

Assists management staffs in the administrative tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

Basic computer literacy (will be trained on job specific systems)

Computer technical support for digital signage troubleshooting

Exceptional organizational skills

Customer Service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in food service, marketing, or administrative support.

Benefits Summary:

Employees are eligible for the following benefits:

One hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum accrual of 24 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year and capped at 48 hours.

University of La Verne Defined Contribution Retirement Plan – can contribute employee voluntary contributions, excluding wages derived from federal work study funds.

In accordance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), employees who work an average of 30 or more hours per week, will be eligible for medical coverage through the University of La Verne.

Covered under the University of La Verne Workers Compensation Insurance.
