Princeton University invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position. The researcher will collaborate with faculty, graduate students, librarians, programmers, and designers on DH projects, providing consultations, offering workshops, and attending regular staff meetings. The researcher will assist with the Humanities Computing Curriculum Committee (HC3) initiative and will oversee and coordinate co-curricular undergraduate outreach activities, undergo training in project management with the Associate Director, and assist in day-to-day project management tasks for a broad range of CDH projects including (but not limited to) the CDH Website, sponsored projects, and CDH Data Fellows. The researcher will also have the option to teach in the Freshman Scholars Institute and may assist with social outreach for the graduate fellows program. The successful candidate will have research expertise that bridges humanistic and computational methods and work that engages with issues of justice, equity, and ethics in the context of emerging technologies. The successful candidate must show excellence in teaching and must have skill and interest in advising students and colleagues in digital humanities, media studies, or information studies. PhD is required. The appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory appointment and continued funding.
