Job Details
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Assists with the facilitation of Structure lab sessions for 1st and 2nd year medical students
•Creates prosections
•Demonstrates prosections to the 1st and 2nd year medical students
•Assists 1st and 2nd year medical students with dissections and problem-based structure projects
•Assists with 4th year medical students in Structure educational elective
Qualifications:PhD in anatomy or related subject required. Must have at least three years experience teaching anatomy at the graduate level. Technical expertise in dissection and the preparation of prosections required. Strong communication skills needed to develop working relationships with staff, faculty, and students. Must demonstrate superior organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptive work style, approach challenges with creativity, innovation, and a positive attitude. Must have extensive computing experience and have proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience in graduate medical education preferred but not required.
