Position Summary
Ensures that foundation resources are effectively deployed to support campus projects and other initiatives that drive the success of Dallas College students.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
· Responsible for providing guidance and leadership in planning the day‐to‐day activities of Dallas College Foundation.

· Collaborates with stakeholders to implement/improve processes and procedures in order to meet the mission and goals of Dallas College Foundation.

· Must have strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to prioritize, plan and lead projects as assigned. Identifies problems and determines the best solution, working to resolve the issue(s).

· Able to develop strong working relationships with team members, key stakeholders, and internal/external constituents from diverse backgrounds in order to meet business needs.

· Provides guidance and support to employees to improve the value of the organization and create a positive work environment.

· Ability to adapt to changes in work environment, work priorities, organizational and/or customer needs.

· Plans, organizes, and schedules staff and tasks effectively to achieve objectives.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field plus three (3) years of related work experience. Official transcripts are required. *** Will be subject to a criminal background check. Some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check. ******

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Collaborates with internal Dallas College stakeholders to consider and develop new and innovative ways that the private and philanthropic center can support campus-based activities and support students directly.

· Works closely with Dallas College campus stakeholders and the Foundation Development team to vet potential campus projects and assess whether projects meet donor goals while driving meaningful and strategic support for students.

· Works with Finance and other offices to understand the Foundation’s finances and uses this understanding to process gifts and grants that support students directly or directly support campus activities.

· Where necessary, liaises with Chancellor’s Office and other senior leaders at Dallas College on behalf of Dallas College Foundation

· Assists Deputy Director with other activities needed to advance the mission of Dallas College Foundation.

· Maintains the highest ethical standards and adherence to applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

· Completes required Dallas College professional development training hours per academic year.

· Performs other duties as assigned.
