Position Summary
Provides complex support services to Dallas College Foundation. Supports Foundation operations, development, marketing and communications, events and other staff with project management, gift processing, events and outreach, and processing campus support requests.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience with the daily operation of an assigned unit or organization.
- Experience planning/maintaining work systems and following processes and policies that enable and encourage a business unit or department to meet its objectives.
- Ability to manage and prioritize assignments; prepare and maintain accurate records; operate standard office equipment; utilize relevant software applications; and facilitate meetings and projects.
- Understanding of emerging trends in Foundation priority areas and key functions, and ability to prepare for changes that may occur because of these trends.
- Interacts and works cooperatively and productively with individuals in a multi-cultural environment. Welcomes diversity within the organization.
- Ability to work independently and be a strong effective team player, committed to delivering timely results; excellent organizational skills; effectively manages multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Can research and propose new methodologies and technologies to enhance the work-flow process.

Physical Requirements

Minimum Knowledge and Experience
- Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree, plus three (3) years of related work experience. Official transcripts are required.
- Must have current and valid Texas driver’s license for off-site travel.
- On-call, work hours may extend beyond the regular, eight hours, Monday-Friday, workday, including weekends and holidays to provide immediate support due to system failures on a 24/7 basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides project management and project support to internal and external Foundation stakeholders and constituents, including the Foundation’s operations, campus supports, technology, development, and marketing teams.
- Troubleshoots complex problems; provides support in a manner that minimizes interruptions in critical Foundation activities.
- Creates and updates Foundation guidelines, handbooks, project management and project review procedures, and other operational assets necessary to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the Foundation.
- Helps to create and implement a culture of continuous improvement within the Foundation.
- Proactively gathers necessary information, analyses information, and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems within assigned project areas.
- Develops and maintains collaborative working relationships with internal/external stakeholders and constituents in a diverse Dallas College community network environment.
- Assists the Deputy Director; Senior Director, Finance and Business; and Senior Director, Development as needed with project and operational support.
