The Department also has strong connections to a wide range of libraries, archives, museums, community organizations, media and technology industry sites, and National Parks that serve both as internship and fieldwork sites for students and as collaborators in research and educational activities.

The Department offers the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree with specializations in archival studies, informatics, data and internet studies, library studies, media archival studies, and rare books / print and visual culture.
