Job Details
SUMMARY:
Serves as first point-of-contact for the Law School Dean’s Office. This position engages daily with staff, faculty, students and the community and must present a professional and welcoming manner in all interactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- First point-of-contact and referral for faculty, staff, students and community; primary point of direct administrative contact and liaison with other offices, individuals, and external institutions and agencies on a range of issues; triages the daily visitors, communications and issues that come into the Dean’s Office and exercises independent judgement to determine what needs to be addressed immediately and by whom
- Prepares and submits University work orders for building and furniture maintenance and repairs
- Oversees maintenance of office equipment; keeps inventory of office supplies and reorders supplies as necessary; organizes and maintains storage areas
- Receives and distributes daily faculty, staff and student mail and may assist with preparing outgoing mailings and packages and supplies
- Oversees room key distribution and inventory
- Assists Dean’s Office Law School Administrative Specialist with various tasks and programs
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma required and bachelor’s degree preferred
WORK HOURS:
- Full-time, non-exempt position
- This position is classified as limited term with an expected end date of 06/30/2022
- Monday – Friday, 8:30-5:00; 7.75 hrs./day; 38.75 hrs./week
