UMass Law welcomes applications for a tenure-track faculty position to begin July 1, 2022. We are particularly interested in candidates who would teach Property, as well as courses in one or more of the following: Race and the Law, Contracts, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Evidence, Environmental Law, Labor and Employment Law, Patent Law, Professional Responsibility, and Tax Law.

Minimum qualifications: Candidates must have a law degree, a strong academic record, and demonstrated potential to produce outstanding scholarship.

Preferred qualifications: Prior law teaching experience, published scholarship, and experience or interest in property law and one or more of our other curricular needs are preferred.

Located on the Massachusetts south coast, only a short drive from Cape Cod, Providence and Boston, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth has been ranked among the top northern public universities by U.S. News and World Report. While retaining its commitment to excellence in undergraduate education, UMass Dartmouth has increased dramatically its research and outreach activities during the past ten years.
