Job Description:

ECU Department of Biology is currently seeking Lab Assistants to help set up and maintain material for BIOL 1051 and BIOL 1101 lab courses. This position requires basic science knowledge, organizational skills, working independently, and working in a group setting. This position will include washing glassware, caring for small organisms, and making solutions.

All student employees are required to follow COVID-19 safety protocols in addition to lab specific safety. Students employed in the lab are expected to wear a face mask and lab coat at all times within the lab and will be responsible for disinfection of work surfaces and any surfaces touched. Other procedures and precautions related to COVID-19 will be provided upon hiring

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.):

All majors accepted. However, science majors are preferred.
