Reporting to the COVID-19 Coordinator and in consultation with the Student Health Coordinator and Manager of Benefits Administration, the contact tracer is responsible for reaching out to people (contacts) who have been exposed to COVID-19 as well as newly diagnosed individuals and providing health education and guidance to interrupt ongoing disease transmission. The Contact Tracer gathers information on close contacts during the period when individuals may have been infectious and provides infectious and potentially infected individuals with resources and instructions on appropriate next steps. The Contact Tracer is dedicated to the learning college concepts by developing programs and facilitating activities that promote student success and lifelong learning.


High school diploma or GED and one year of community experience required.
Bachelor’s degree; experience conducting telephone-based or in-person interview, data
collection and data entry; experience with health education, community outreach,
linkage to care, social services, or other public health services; and bilingual preferred.

• Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, establishing and maintaining

• Proficiency with use of computers (desktop, laptop, tablet), mobile devices, and
Microsoft Office
