General Summary

This position provides an exceptional customer experience to all visitors of the Daniel L. Ritchie Center for Sports & Wellness through managing, monitoring, and improving the daily functions/interactions that customers will have. This includes parking, facility entry and access, transaction experience (in-person and online), facility quality, communication, safety, and servicing each customers needs.

The position coordinates creating, managing, and improving our processes and measuring the efficiency of our systems and procedures. This includes managing daily deposits, membership collections, invoice payment, budget reconciliation, related reporting, and more.

The position has direct oversight of the RecTrac operating system that includes the set-up, maintenance and period end processes to ensure that all accounts are reconciled correctly. This position ensures all financials are correct by managing daily deposits, membership collections, invoice payment, budget reconciliation and related reporting.

Position will be required to work a varied schedule at times, including evenings and weekends

Essential Functions

Exceptional Student/Member/Participant/Guest Experience

  • Create a Culture of Service Above Self.
  • Emphasize the importance of providing value to students, members, participants and guests.
  • Train employees in customer service, for example: expressing genuine interest in assisting departments, programs, and members.
  • Recording profile information (CRM); anticipating needs; responding to requests; offering additional assistance, when necessary.

Member Services

  • Set up all passes, activities, POS and related operations within the RecTrac system.
  • Ensure that all member and guest accounts within the system are accurate and up to date; including, but is not limited to, household information, cancellations, transfers and billing corrections.
  • Complete all month end and period end processing to ensure that the system is operating in the most effective manner.
  • Maximize RecTrac/WebTrac opportunities and use of the system.

Systems and Processes

  • Execute all budget mechanisms to ensure they are operating at a high-level; including billing automation, online registration, and front-line processing.
  • Utilize banner software to complete daily deposits to process all revenues and pay expenses.
  • Transfer revenue from holding account into budgets.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience.
  • CPR; First Aid; AED; Blood Borne Pathogen; Concussion Training.
  • Accounting basics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience.
  • CPR; First Aid; AED; Blood Borne Pathogen Instructor, Systems Knowledge in RecTrac, EBMS, WebTrac.

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Salary Grade Number:
The salary grade for the position is 8.

Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $46,000 - $52,000.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
