The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).
Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research. B/C B/E in Neurology.
The successful candidate will have clinical experience and responsibilities in the area of Cognitive Neurology, Epilepsy, General Neurology, Multiple Sclerosis, Neurointensivist, Neurogenetics, Neuromuscular Disease, Neuro-ophthalmology, Neuro-psychology, Parkinson's Disease, Movement Disorders, Sleep Disorders, Stroke or Critical Care, while developing a career in an academic setting.
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop an individual training experience in research skills and teaching while developing a career in an academic setting.
