Description:

The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine seeks applicants for the position of Lecturer in Large Animal Emergency / Critical Care and Surgery in the Department of Clinical Studies - New Bolton Center, starting September 2021 or as soon as a successful candidate is identified.  The successful candidate will participate in the clinical activities of the Large Animal Emergency / Critical Care and Surgery services in the Large Animal Hospital including emergency admissions, routine surgery admissions, surgical patient management and clinical training of veterinary students and house officers.  Participation in the after-hours Emergency Service is required.   

 

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

 


 


Qualifications:

VMD/DVM or equivalent degree and completion of an ACVS-accredited residency program are required.  Preference will be given to candidates who have completed all ACVS certification requirements.


Application Instructions:

The application should include a letter of intent, current curriculum vitae, and names and contact information for three references.  Applicants must be a citizen of the United States of America, Canada or Mexico or have permanent residency status in the USA.  The successful applicant will be required to sign a nondisclosure and non-competition agreement.  

Lecturer positions are one-year, renewable appointments.  Deadline for application is September 1, 2021 or until the position is filled.
