22-Jul-2021 Close All Job SummaryThe Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering encourages applications for a Temporary CSRA Administrative Assistant! The CSRA Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:
Coordinating Research Team Meetings:
  • Plan and organize the logistics of all quarterly research team meeting events in accordance with financial and time restraints.
  • Coordinate all CSRA event operations (planning, invites, vendors, and logistics).
  • Produce and distribute correspondence to CSRA members including memos, emails, letters, and forms.
  • Take minutes of meetings.
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments as requested.
  • Coordinate purchasing for events, meetings, communications, and general operations.
  • Organize the CSRA Annual Safety Summit including logistics and vendors.
Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Develop and update administrative systems
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports.
  • Assist with travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate printing
Marketing and Communications:
  • Assist with maintaining the CSRA website and knowledge repository
  • Assist with coordinating the creation of CSRA reports, updates, reviews, and videos
  • Source and supervise graphic design, typesetting, and formatting of research products

  • This is a 12 month 50% time temporary position. There is a possibility of receiving a permanent position after the temporary contract ends.
What We Can Offer
  • The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00 per hour.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite of tools
  • Experience in marketing and communications
What You Will Need
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to communicate with industry professionals
What We Would Like You To Have
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in technical writing
  • Solid understanding of graphic design
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Experience working with construction professionals
