Job Details:

Assistant Director for Athletics Compliance Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Assistant Director for Athletics Compliance in the President’s Office. Duties include, but are not limited to: perform preliminary evaluations on all prospective student-athletes that sport programs recruit; manage tryout processes for all athletic teams; assist the Director of Compliance with duties as liaison with University Housing, Admissions and the Bookstore; monitor initial eligibility certification with the NCAA Eligibility Center; maintain submission of all recruiting official visit and unofficial visit forms within the ARMS software; assist with monitoring of athletics program practices; monitor and maintain recruiting and telephone logs within the ARMS software; assist with book scholarship disbursement and retrieval; assist with the maintenance of the compliance website; assist with updating compliance manual and applicable forms; assist with the administering and overseeing of the National Letter of Intent Program; participate in campus wide NCAA rules education program and NCAA rules interpretations; and other duties as assigned. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree and at least one (1) year of experience working with NCAA compliance is required. Experience working with NCAA compliance at a Division I institution, conference office or the NCAA is preferred. Additionally, a successful candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills; attention to detail; excellent computer skills; demonstrated knowledge of NCAA compliance rules and regulations; basic knowledge, understanding and adherence of NCAA, conference and University rules and guidelines. Required Qualifications:
