Senior Assistant Registrar for NCAA Compliance Coastal Carolina University seeks candidates for the position of Senior Assistant Registrar for NCAA Compliance in the Office of the Registrar. This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Registrar. Duties include, but are not limited to: serve as the universities official certification officer and ensure university remains compliant with conference and NCAA rules and regulations; review the academic credentials for each student athlete to determine eligibility status; assimilate and file appropriate documentation to support certification (NCAA student athlete detail reports, transcripts, degree audits, academic progress forms, etc.); create electronic data files on each student athlete; supervise the Assistant Director for Compliance regarding all NCAA student athlete certifications; monitor daily reports regarding fulltime enrollment of student athletes, student athlete registrations/drops, and major/minor program changes to ensure athletes remain full-time and maintain eligibility; conduct review of student athlete information in Compliance Assistant; work cooperatively with Student Athlete Academic Services and Athletics Compliance staff to ensure information is accurate; create, distribute, review, compile and file the academic progress forms in correlation with Student Athlete Academic Services ensuring consistency and validity of information; maintain policies and procedure manual to ensure procedures are up to date with NCAA bylaws, legislation and regulations; and other duties as assigned. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. Experience with NCAA Division I athletic eligibility; in-depth knowledge of NCAA constitutions, bylaws, legislation and regulations; familiarity with reporting APR and GSR reports to the NCAA; and direct experience with NCAA Academic performance programs are required. A master’s degree and experience with NCAA Compliance Assistance Software are preferred.

Required Qualifications:
