  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
  • Strong understanding of effective communication principles through the web
  • Strong Knowledge of HTML and CSS, fundamentals of web design and user experience.
  • Ability to use photo editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, to resize, crop and/or otherwise, edit images
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, or other web focused programming languages
Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Web Design/Development: Designs, code, develops, maintains, tests, and supports websites and web projects that follow enterprise branding standards; Plans, implements, and supports new page designs and features in the content management system (CMS); Works to continuously evolve how we deliver and manage our web presence, staying current with best practices, accessibility standards, and guidelines.
  • Project Management / Client Relation: Works regularly with content owners, publishers, or units to learn site requirements and provide appropriate support; Provides consultation to enterprise stakeholders on website design, strategy, and technical implementation; Works with enterprise stakeholders to develop implementation strategies and plans for websites.
  • Site Management: Assist in the development and maintenance of CMS snippets, assets, and components for use by site publishers; Monitor and assist enterprise stakeholders in maintenance activities, such as broken links, content refreshes, and accessibility compliance.
  • Documents/Tacks Projects: Documents and track projects in a project management system daily.
  • Other Duties: All other related duties/tasks as assigned.
Job Summary This position will be responsible for serving as a resource to enterprise units to support day to day operation of enterprise web properties, as well as serve as a resource to publishers that may need assistance in the completion of their job duties. This position will work to develop and maintain websites focused on providing resources and information to our stakeholders (patients, students, faculty, and staff). This position will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites from layout to function, and according to specifications provided by content owners.Shift/Salary Shift: Mon-Fri; 8:00AM-5:00PM (May be required to work outside normal business hours) Pay Grade: 16 Salary: $41,846.00 - $49,878.29/Annually Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position Recruitment Period: 7/21/21 - Until FilledConditions of Employment All candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review prior to starting with Augusta University.
