Position Summary:

The assistant coach reports to the Head Bowling Coach and will assist in all facets of the program to ensure a quality and successful NCAA Bowling Program

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coaching
  • Recruiting
  • Opponent scouting
  • Player development
  • Arranging team travel
  • Video tasks
  • Scheduling
  • Camps
  • Community relations
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of University, Southland Conference and NCAA rules and procedures

General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

The assistant coach has contact with student-athletes, athletics personnel, as well as institutional administrative personnel

Travel to conferences and professional development sessions

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned Bachelor's Degree with prior successful coaching experience
