Sr. Service Supervisor I - Volshop

Regular, Full-time, Market Range 03

This position performs manual and clerical tasks in unloading, receiving, verifying, pricing, and shipping merchandise. Responsible for being the backup delivery person/truck driver to each VolShop, as well as moving event trailers on home football games. This position is also the backup for VolShop order fulfillment, along with other duties as assigned.

WORK PERFORMED

Loading and unloading merchandise from various trucking companies. Verifying that it is our merchandise.

Receiving and sorting merchandise. Verifying Stock numbers, quantity, and prices from our purchase orders. Works very closely with all VolShop buyers. Majority of the merchandise is hand unloading a box at a time. Freight is unloaded with a forklift.

Delivering merchandise to VolShop locations. Daily delivers to campus customers and to all of store locations.

Responsible for moving trailers to locations needed to sell merchandise for all events.

Backup for Order Fulfillment. Print orders, verify what store to pull orders from, verify the merchandise is correct when it arrives back to Order Fulfillment.

Pack and ship to customers.



Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

    High School diploma or GEDVocational/technical training preferredOne-year experience of receiving/distribution required.One year experience of driving a truck and delivering merchandise, preferredStrong communication skills both verbal and written.Strong time management skills with particular attention to detail required.Ability to learn and use the Receiving, inventory and order fulfillment system is required.
