Position Summary:

The Office of Admissions part-time staff member will assist with the daily general operations of the office. This includes serving as a front-line representative for the office, answering incoming phone calls, assisting prospective students with admission questions, and assisting full-time staff with application processing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls from the main Office of Admissions number
  • Greet visitors to the office in the front lobby
  • Assist admission analyst with application processing, including processing documents, checking data in Slate, and corresponding with students about their admission status
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by the Senior Director

General Days/Hours:

Two shifts available:
Monday – Friday 8:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. and
Monday – Friday 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate degree (any discipline) preferred;
prior customer service experience required;
experience in higher education preferred.
