The Research Integrity and Compliance (RIC) unit within the Division of Research & Innovation provides training, support, and oversight of the UNT research community by assuring the Institution and investigators are conducting research in compliance with local, state and federal regulations, and university policies and procedures. The Research Integrity and Compliance unit administers UNT’s research compliance programs, including: Human Subjects and Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), Conflict of Interest (COI), Export Controls, and Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR).Position Overview:
The Sr. Administrative Coordinator position is responsible for providing executive, administrative, and analytical support to the Assistant Vice President for Research Integrity and Compliance (RIC) and RIC unit staff. Coordinates unit activities and acts as university-wide liaison, including interacting with offices of the President, Vice President’s and/or external constituencies while maintaining sensitivity to confidentiality and protocol. Identifies issues or problems and researches to find solutions within specific management areas.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and five years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and trainingKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
