Job Summary The Application Architect will be charged with the functional administration and development of several end-user applications and application platforms used by students, faculty, and staff. In addition to functional administration, this position will be responsible for troubleshooting, supporting, maintaining, and documenting the applications. The Application Architect will act as a liaison between ITS and various campus entities to promote the use of new and existing technologies as well as provide end-user training for successful application implementation. Responsibilities
- Document procedures, technical instructions, and business knowledge (40%)
- Assist with end-user training, product enhancement, and product upgrades (40%)
- Administer, maintain, support, and promote a wide variety of internally- and externally-facing applications, including ServiceNow and Office 365 (10%)
- Assist in the creation, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of new applications and modules (10%)
Experience with higher education is preferable. Experience with a broad variety of end-user applications. Bachelor’s degree is required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Intermediate to an advanced working knowledge of service-based software, ITSM applications, and services, such as

Comfort and familiarity with modern development practices and the development lifecycleStrong troubleshooting and investigative skills accompanied with knowledge and familiarity of how large-scale enterprise applications and databases function in environments with a large userbaseAbility to acquire new and novel knowledge and skills related to specific tasks, methodologies, materials, tools, and equipment to understand its implications and apply lessons to current and future problem solving and decision-makingExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
