Works in support of IT Analysts to execute project related tasks in the areas of computer hardware or classroom/AV equipment. Projects can include installations, remediation, functional testing and assessment, asset management or decommission of equipment. Acts as a backup to ITS Analysts during times of conflicting, concurrent demand.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Equipment/software installation
- Equipment/software change or upgrade
- Functional testing of equipment or software
- Asset management
- Decommissioning equipment
- Other project work as necessary
- Perform other duties commensurate with the functions and level of the position to include the recruitment and retention of students.
EDUCATION: Certification-or-demonstrated knowledge skills in computer installation, maintenance and upgrade or classroom technology, audio visual equipment maintenance and upgrade
EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of applicable experience and/or demonstrated ability in subject area.
DESIRED: Experience in customer service
