Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.:Experience moving, loading and unloading, heavy lifting type of work like that of working in a warehouse or for a moving company or for a transporting/freight company.
Must have and maintain a Valid Texas Drivers License with good driving record per University policy.
Must have Forklift driving experience.
Be able to Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Computer experience with MS word products and Excel
Good written and verbal communication skills
Basic Math skills
2 years or more experience working in a warehouse type environment or for a moving company or for a transporting/freight company
2 years or more of Forklift driving experience.
Experience using SAP
Warehouse Worker in the Moves and Events Office of the Materials Management & Logistics Department will perform moving, loading and unloading, heavy lifting type of work like that of working in a warehouse or for a moving company or for a transporting/freight company.
Responsible for all internal and external departmental and office moves
Pickup, deliver and transfer of miscellaneous equipment, furniture or surplus property.
Set up for Graduations, Registrations, Orientations, Meetings and Special Events.
Operate forklift, electric pallet jacks and hand trucks.
Delivery of large Freight
Maintain good driving record in accordance with University policies.
Drive University Vehicles including forklifts
Load and unload vehicles.
Will work in doors and outdoors
Will Work in extreme weather conditions
Will work with the Public
Will work as a team member or independently
Will need to be able to work extended hours and on weekends when needed
