(Contingent upon available funding): 15.00 - 15.00, Hourly Work Schedule: Varies Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: This position is a part-time temporary position through April 2022.
The External Affairs Specialistwill provide support for the External Affairs team. External Affairs includes theMarketing/Communications, Alumni, Events, and National Center for Wellness and Recovery (NCWR) branches.
This individual will assist with other outreach efforts by helping as needed with prelogistics work and day of for: Pre-Health Round Up; Operation Orange and Dr. Pete’s Immersion Camp; and alumnievents. Some travel will be needed, and this individual may be asked to travelwith Outreach Coordinators to present to high school groups on the variousprograms offered at OSU Center for Health Sciences.
In addition to the above, this individual will providephotography support by assisting with video/photo shoots and social media, asneeded.
Some evening and weekends may be required, with the exclusions ofUniversity holidays. Flex schedule may be allowed based on project load.
Indoor and outdoor exposure depending on events.
Ability to lift and carry 8-10 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger,grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or withoutreasonable accommodations.

Position Qualifications: Required:
- Two (2) years of college or technical training or equivalent experience
- At least six (6) month to one (1) year of experience in an office setting
- Driver's license
Proficient use of computer is required for data entry, and e-mailcommunication. Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, able to handle multipleassignments simultaneously, have excellent communication, organization andinterpersonal skills, and must be able to maintain confidentiality. Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree
