Job Summary: The Coordinator for Student Services will develop, plan and coordinate all student programs on behalf of the College of Communication and Information Sciences including recruitment, orientation, and student leadership.

Additional Department Summary: The Coordinator of Student Services will work in Tisch Student Services and External Relations which focuses in the areas of student support, student engagement, and community-building within C&IS. The coordinator will lead and support various initiatives within the College. Reporting directly to the Director of College Relations, this position will serve as a key component to the Tisch Student Services and External Relations team.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of admissions, academic advising, or student services experience; OR Master's degree.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays when needed. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier.

Skills and Knowledge: Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills (written and oral). Strong computer skills and knowledge.Leadership ability. Human relations skills. Organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and staff.

Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree preferred. Experience in program support, events or recruitment. Educational background in communication-related field preferred.
