Assumesthe responsibility for all logistical aspects of events within the HillebrandClinical Skills Center. Collaborates with the Hillebrand Clinical Skills CenterDirector and staff to optimize resources through coordinating event/trainingrequests, identifying, assessing, and arranging training needs and personnelrequired to provide event support. Coordinates event management ensuring appropriate event set up andwelcoming and directing faculty and students. This position will also be responsible fordesigning and producing bi-monthly payroll reports, monthly activity, andfinancial reports for the Director/Hillebrand Clinical Skills Center. Theindividual must possess the ability to work autonomously, when required,through the use of high level critical-thinking and decision-making skills.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, education, communications or related field or Associate’s degree with equivalent relevant work experience required
Experience with front line customer support required
Experience in a training/teaching environment preferred
Experience working with students preferred
Experience with program/report development and event management preferred
Experience of event development, billing, and scheduling preferred
Communication and other skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to work appropriately with students, faculty and standardized patients
Superior organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment
Excellent computer skills(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Works in a professional training/teaching environment with possible high stress levels with multiple interruptions. A large portion of the job will require sitting, but there will be periods where lifting and/or moving equipment is required. Occasional support off shift (evening, weekend) work hours.
