    TheDepartment of Medicinal and Biological Chemistry of the University of ToledoCollege of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences has an opening for a full-time ResearchAssistant Professor.

    Expertise in medicinal chemistry and drug design is important. 

    Thesuccessful applicant will contribute to high-impact teaching in the college’sB.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, M.S. and Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, andPharm.D. programs.

    A portion of effort will be to produce scholarship ineducation or research that complements and expands existing expertise in thedepartment.

    Opportunities for research collaboration with faculty will beavailable. 

    Salary is commensurate withexperience and qualifications.

    Thisis a one-year position, with the option of reappointment upon mutual agreement.

    Qualifications:

    Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree in Medicinal Chemistry or a relatedfield or a Pharm.D.

    The ability to instruct clearlyin both written and spoken English is a requirement.

    Thesuccessful candidate should have an enthusiasm for teaching, strong organizationand communication skills, and a commitment to working with and supporting adiverse group of individuals from all academic levels.
