Assistant, Associate or Full Professor - Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgeon

The Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University seeks a stereotactic and functional neurosurgeon to expand the department's academic research and clinical program. The successful candidate will be appointed at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank in the Medical Center Line (MCL).

The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the Medical Center Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

The successful applicant must be board-eligible or board-certified from the American Board of Neurological Surgeons (ABNS), and eligible for a California medical license. It is expected that the candidate will have special interest and expertise in functional and stereotactic neurosurgery.

We expect the successful candidate to help expand the Functional Neurosurgery Program at Stanford and develop an academic career with responsibilities including patient care, teaching, and clinical and/or laboratory research.
