Position Summary:
This position is located in The Paul Merage School of Business Office of Executive Education (OEE). The OEE provides short-term, career development courses for professional and executive development. These programs are designed for executives, managers and employees at all levels of a company. Agility is key to survival in our rapidly changing global economy. The Merage School develops and equips leaders with critical business and leadership skills needed to succeed through programs that are continually adapted to address the ever-changing social, technological and economic opportunities and challenges in our digitally driven world. We offer MBA programs, Specialty Masters programs, MS in Biotechnology Management, MS in Engineering Management, PhD, and undergraduate business degrees that focus on creative and critical thinking skills, strategic decision-making, leadership, innovation, and collaboration through in-class and on-site experiences with real-world business problems. While the Merage School is relatively young, it has quickly grown to consistently rank among the top 5% of all AACSB-accredited programs through exceptional student recruitment, world-class faculty, a strong alumni network and close relationships with both individual business executives and global corporations. We combine the academic strengths and best traditions of the University of California with the cutting-edge, entrepreneurial spirit of Orange County in the heart of Southern California's Tech Coast.
Under the general supervision of the Senior Education Program Manager, and consistent with the objectives of The Paul Merage School of Business and UCI policy guidelines, the Program Manager, Office of Executive Education, is responsible for two key areas: Educational program management and educational program execution.

$23.95 - $26.34

Required:
3-5 years' higher education program management experience, preferably in Executive Education or Continuing Education environment
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training. Continuing education in related field required.
Working knowledge of departmental and organization policies and procedures; knowledge of educational program content and objectives. Working knowledge of delivering public educational programs. Working knowledge of current public education programs and trends. Working skills to produce and deliver programs. Working knowledge of conducting needs assessment. Good analytical skills to understand how business needs can be addressed through the design and delivery of training programs. Good reading, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, and good presentation skills. Skill in using business software systems in the completion of work assignments, i.e., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
Special Conditions Required:
Occasional weekend and evening work hours supporting programs. This position is a hybrid position with some on campus work and some work from home ability but individual should reside within a commutable distance to the UC Irvine campus.
