Responsibilities

•Provides technical direct customer service support for 350+ workstations, desktop systems, software (to include our Electronic Medical Records, Specialized Dental Software, etc), hardware, and network infrastructure.
•Serve as a principal point of contact to answer inquiries and initiate resolution of problems.
•Work orders are received via an internal work request system(JORIS), two-way radio, direct customer contact and phone. Assesses priority and responds and assigns work orders based on acuity. Installs, configures, and trouble shoots mobile devices, workstations, printers, servers and network issues.
•Assists with the training of staff on EMR systems, Microsoft office, application, basic computer functions and other applications.
•Provides vendor support for University Health Services contracted vendors and campus partners.
•Assists with management of inventory and deployment software for all hardware & software products.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to two years.
Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to convey technical information to technical and non-technical users.
Ability to document existing and new processes.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures for computer support.
Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.
Position requires pre-employment PPD (TB) and successful completion of post hire OSHA training.
