Position Overview:

This position creates satisfying or compelling experiences for web and app users, drawing on results from user research, past experience and industry standards. This position requires strong creative, technical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance business requirements, technical solutions and user needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and three years of related Integrated Systems experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Prior experience with specific systems, equipment and software may be specified as needed by department.
  • Considerable knowledge of principles of computing and/or communications networks, and characteristics of computing hardware and software used in distributed environments.
  • Ability to operate computer keyboards and to install computer hardware.
  • Ability to assimilate, retain and utilize technical and applications-oriented information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Considerable experience with web development/design including HTML, CSS Javascript and APIs
• Experience using accessibility guidelines and standards in creating effective interfaces
• Experience with Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or similar prototyping tools
• Experience with user testing tools and methodologies to validate designs and improve user experience
