Educational and Experience Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Master’s degree preferred. Two years relevant experience in a related field. Four years of relevant experience is preferred. Experience in Higher Education, research, and specialized work is desirable. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.


Nature & Purpose of Position:

Performs advanced research and analytics in support of educational program development and review.

Primary Responsibilities:

Conducts research to aid university leadership in making data-informed decisions about new program development and existing program modifications. Serves as a resource to academic programs in the development of new degree program proposals, to include workforce analytics and market research. Assists in the development and implementation of methods for collecting program needs and student demand data, such as surveys, focus groups, and questionnaires. Interprets and presents data analytics to academic leadership through charts, graphs, and other visual means. Provides training and other curriculum development and review support to academic programs. Assists in the ongoing review and analysis of degree program health. Performs other duties as assigned.

Other Specifications:

Requires a demonstrated ability to establish congenial work relationships and effective communication with faculty, staff, administrators, community, and workforce partners. Requires extensive knowledge of higher education. Requires demonstrated research, research writing, and analytical skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving and innovative thinking. Requires knowledge of software systems to include Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Basic understanding of SPSS is preferred.
