Associate’s Degree in a related field. Two years relevant administrative assistant experience or experience in a related field is required. Financial aid or other university-related work experience would be helpful. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.Nature & Purpose of Position:
Performs specialist duties or services for the Department of Financial Aid.Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluates institutional forms and federal tax documents. Assists in the development of procedures and guidelines for the verification process. Provides federal, state, departmental and/or university information to students, parents, departments, and staff. Performs quality control checks to ensure compliance with regulations. Interprets policies and procedures. Compiles, tracks, and reviews data and reports. Attends meetings. Performs other related duties as assigned.Other Specifications:
