Manage the room move request process including but not limited to communication, problem-solving with resident and professional staff within Residential Life.
Maintain understanding and working knowledge of department processes/procedures to provide the best residential experience for residents.
Manage the summer housing process; including but not limited to: applications, contracts, assignments, room moves and other ancillary tasks related to summer residents.
Primary liaison for the department with a variety of University departments, such as Cashiers, Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration, International Center and various other administrative departments.
Collaborate with various members within Residential Life team to achieve optimal occupancy and satisfaction for residents.
Ensure department data integrity with regards to capacity and occupancy.
Have a full and clear understanding of data to assist with generating and summarizing ad hoc reports.
Greet guests, answer departmental phone, route calls to appropriate person(s), answer department inquiries from interested parties (prospective and current students, parents) and other general questions.
Understand and infer urgency and utilize appropriate tone when communicating.
Involvement with other duties and responsibilities is expected in order to serve the customer and maintain our Residential Life and Student Affairs mission.
Salary Range: $13.27 - 14.50/hr depending on experience

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (some nights and weekends, as needed)
High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Office experience is preferred.
Directly related education or training may be substituted for experience.
Strong customer service skills.
Interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
Outstanding collaboration as a member of a team and positive attitude
Ability to type proficiently.
Competency to utilize computer-based office software and web-based applications, including excel database
Ability to understand complex systems, perform multiple tasks using multiple procedures at the same time.
