This non-represented 180-level position serves within the Office of the Chancellor in the Employee Benefits Department of Human Resources and reports to the Assistant Director for Health Care Program Administration. The position is responsible for providing technical, financial, and analytical work in the program management and administration for system-wide employee benefits programs that are of low to moderate complexity. These programs may include areas such as: State System administration of PEBTF benefits, the supplemental dental and vision program, voluntary group life insurances including short/long-term disability programs, and group term life insurances, etc. In addition, this position may provide assistance as needed in the management and administration of programs with higher complexity, such as the State System’s wellness program and the State System’s healthcare program, etc.
This position involves project management and technical work in the application of principles and practices of employee benefits administration. Responsibilities are independently performed.
This position is primarily remote but may require occasional travel to the main office in Harrisburg, PA, as well as to the 14 State System Universities.

A bachelor's degree and four years of experience in benefit program administration or other commensurate experience.
Any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Preferred QualificationsProfessional certifications, e.g. Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), are preferred.
