Central Arizona College employeesImplements outreach activities that contribute to increased access to educational opportunities for specific populations and geographic areas. Assist students in the transition to college. Contributes to the overall functioning of all CAC One Stop Enrollment Services locations and is actively involved in the recruitment, advisement, and registration of students. Actively contributes to meeting College goals for access, enrollment, retention, completion and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrated commitment to the value of principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. Knowledge and skill in operating a variety of multimedia equipment, computer systems hardware, and relevant software applications including database management systems in admissions and recruitment. Knowledge of specific processes, policies, and procedures of office management and workflow procedures to include effective management of workload, i.e. prioritizing and organizing work. Ability to deal with a variety of highly confidential information, records, and sensitive situations in an effective manner. Skill in communicating with students regarding college policies and procedures. Skill in gathering, compiling, and presenting information in oral and/or written form. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet, e-mail. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Ability to serve as an effective role model. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Ability to handle multiple assignments with minimal supervision. Ability to work with diverse group of individuals
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Duties performed causes fatigue of eyes, fingers, or other faculties due to long periods of standing, sitting, and/or repetitive motion. Duties require continuous effort in working with light to moderate (10 to 30 lbs. and, on occasion, over 30 lbs.) materials producing some body fatigue.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Important Level Interpersonal Skills - Strong sense of cultural sensitivity and the ability to work as a team with students, staff, and faculty from multiple intersectional backgrounds and strengths. Must possess an ability to recognize the value of multiple points of view and a high level of emotional intelligence. Must possess the ability to interact on a regular basis with high profile individuals, including superintendents, principals, guidance counselors, parents, and other community members.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Job is performed in general office or comparable working area with distractions such as noise, interruptions, or congested work areas with exposure to some disagreeable elements. Early morning, evening, and weekend hours required with some travel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Recruitment, advising, and registration of target student populations following the one stop Enrollment Services model.
- Develop presentations and present workshops on variety of topics related to college enrollment, student transitions, student development, and available college and community resources.
- Resolve admissions issues to facilitate the onboarding process for prospective students.
- Work closely as the primary contact with high school personnel at target sites to strengthen and maintain working relationships.
- Assist in planning and facilitation of New Student Orientation and other outreach events.
- Assist as-needed with college communications, including with the current CRM and ERP software, virtual call center, artificial intelligence chatbot, customer service software and other service tools
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year applicable experience – or – Associate’s degree and three (3) years of applicable experience
SPECIAL POSITION CONDITIONS: Considerable travel required using own means of transportation. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends. Bilingual Spanish desirable.
SALARY: Entry Salary Range: $42,343.00 - $44,884.00 per year (Dependent upon Qualifications)
