The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia is seeking an Assistant Director, Graduate Marketing and Recruiting for Pre-Experienced Programs (PEP). Reporting to the Director of Graduate Recruiting, the incumbent is responsible for marketing and recruiting activities for one or more graduate business programs. The successful candidate excels in building relationships and counseling prospective students throughout the admissions and yield process. They will be results-oriented, a quick learner, and a good listener. Strong presentation, writing and networking skills are essential. The incumbent will leverage recruitment events to attract top talent and cultivate relationships with top-ranked undergraduate schools both domestic and internationally. They will develop and execute effective recruitment campaigns through use of events, digital, social, or traditional media, and developing relationships with key influencers such as leveraging the student and alumni ambassador programs to help promote the graduate programs.

This position will require some weekend and evening work as well as the ability to travel throughout the U.S. and potentially abroad.
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 years of previous work experience in recruitment, admissions, or related field
- Excellent writing, presentation, and data reporting skills
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and inclusive
- Able to work collaboratively and independently.
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to relate well to the career and educational needs of college students
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity; excellence in customer service
- Valid driver’s license
- Master’s Degree in higher education, business, or related field
- Previous recruiting or admissions experience at the graduate level
- Proficiency with Slate admissions or similar CRM software strongly preferred

Anticipated hiring range : $45,000 - $56,000

COVID Vaccination Requirement
