The HR Coordinator will provide professional-level support of human resource functions for the Division of Student Life. This position will support the HR Business Partner by serving as an information resource on processes and procedures and will be responsible for initiating and processing HR documentation. This position will work between 30-40 hours per week, as needed.
Serve as a unit-level contact for HR-related processes and proceduresReview and coordinate process of hiring requests from unit managementCoordinate activities associated with employee on-boarding and orientation; May assist with recruitment efforts and selection processInitiate and/or process HR-related documentation (hiring packages, posting requests, schedules and reports, etc.)Respond to inquiries regarding Institute and departmental HR policies and procedures; make referrals when appropriateGather and coordinate dissemination of information regarding new or revised HR related policies and procedures within unit.Review and recommend revision to unit level HR processes as appropriateOversee employee record maintenance and transactions including salary, job, termination and other related changesPerform other duties as assigned
