Department Information The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. Job Summary
The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking a Research Engineer II to characterize and secure industrial control systems. Specifically, power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. To complete this work, we need to hire someone with deep technical skills in the following areas: industrial control system security, network traffic characterization, network protocols, and mathematics of power delivery. This position will also supervise graduate students working on the project.
A Master’s degree and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree, orA Master’s degree and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor’s degree, or A Doctoral degree.
A strong background in power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
